The Magpie Inn is a very attractive,
large 16th century beamed Coaching Inn situated on the busy A140 midway between Ipswich and Diss. On the walls are there are
various old pictures of the building and horse related items along with hanging utensils and jugs etc.
Investigation Details
On Saturday 5th April
2008 the Aspire Paranormal Investigations & Research Group sent a team to investigate the Magpie Inn. A team had
investigated here back in December 2007 and Aspire were keen to undertake a second investigation

01.00 An orb is seen floating
over pool table spotted on camera by Mark. Almost at the same time Debbie feels her hair being stroked and Von felt a tickling
sensation on the right side of her face.
01.05 Von senses the presence
of a little boy.
01.07 Von feels a ‘prod’
in her right shoulder.
01.10 Von and Debbie both
feel cold – temperature recorded as 21.6.

there is someone standing behind her.
01.17 A flashing light is
seen by Mark’s feet.

become aware of a presence behind them (they are both sitting on the floor by fireplace with their backs to the door).
Von gets the name Scott –
a little boy about 10 years old with fair hair. Von also senses a young woman with two children playing ring-a-roses.
The woman is wearing a brown skirt, white apron and white hat.
Many light anomalies are spotted
throughout the vigil.
